Faculty Position in Department of Science Education , NTUE

JOB SUMMARY:

The successful candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Responsibilities will include: (1) Teaching undergraduate courses in “Analytical Chemistry” (“Instrumental Analysis” is also included), “Environmental Chemistry”, and “Organic Chemistry”, and opportunities to teach courses in science education fields, such as “Study of Elementary Science Curriculum”, “Advanced Statistics in Education”, and “History, Philosophy, and Science Education” (2) Service to the University, profession and community. Being able to effectively work with students and other faculty is very important.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Education: A Ph.D. in Science Education is required. If he/she is a Ph.D. in Chemistry, postdoctoral or comparable experience in science education is preferred. Also, a Bachelor degree in Chemistry or a related is required.
Research: The successful applicant will possess research ability and had SCI or SSCI publications in 5 years.
